A PLUG VALVE may also have morethan two ports. For example in a three way plug valve flow from one port can be diverted to either the second or third port. A three way plug valve may be designed so that the flow is shifted between ports 1 and 2, 2 and three, or 1 and 3 and even to connect ports 1,2 and 3. This functionality in a multi port plug valve is similar to the flow directing possibilities of a multi port ball valve or a multi port valve with a rotar. Another feature of the plug valve is to have one port on one side and tow ports on the other side and have two parallel and diagonal fluid pathays inside the plug. This gives the plug the ability to be rotated 180 degrees in order to connect the port on one side the valve to any of the two ports on the other side.
